So, I will admit, I am a little behind on my reading, but this dedication speaks of slowing down and taking more time. It is very interesting how each verse that I have read sounds like it is describing where I am in life right now. I guess everyone, in some way, is affected my these words. It is hard for me to "slow down" and "wait" because I feel like I have been waiting forever! How do you make yourself wait even longer then you already have or just let go of something you want more than anything????? Today's dedication says that pushing to make something happen before its time can cause stress. This make sense to me! Logically, I know that being stressed will not help the cause. So here we are back at Patience! God help me because I don't want to wait anymore, but I will let you be my guide and enjoy the journey!
Day 9
"What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?" Romans 8:31
"God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging." Psalm 46:1-3
"For no word from God will ever fail." Luke 1:37
Psalms 46:1-3 really makes me think about all of the natural disasters that have been occurring around the world. "Mountains fall into the heart of the sea." People need to find there way back to God and trust that he will protect us and love us all if we follow Him. So many people in the world need God's refuge right now.....
