5 Months

I can hardly beleive it has been 5 months! Annabelle has gotten so big and is starting to get such a personality. We have started her on baby food and she LOVES IT! We have tried sweet peas, sweet potatoes, squash, brocolli and rice cereal. She has eatten them all. The only veggie on the menu that we have not tried yet is carrots. There up tonight. Annabelle is a mover these days. I really think she is trying to climb me sometimes. She rolls over all the time, does not like to be cradled unless it is bedtime, is totally doing her superman pose when on her belly and scoots like a champ. She will be sitting up and crawling before we know it! The ladies at daycare have commented on how strong Annabelle is compared to other babies they have seen at her age. She can even be caught holding her own bottle sometimes. She likes to push the bottle out of her mouth and pull it back when she is ready for more. Try changing her diaper or putting lotion on her these days. It is becoming more of a battle every day. Annabelle sleeps about 10 to 12 hours everynight now and wakes up with a smile. She just loves the flowers on her bumper pad and is always cooing and ahhing when we go in to get her every morning. She is such a happy baby and I am so thankful. I could not ask for a better baby! I know I say this often, but she fills my heart! I am amazed by this precious gift from God! I prayed, cried for and hurt for so long wanting a baby and God answered my prayers with the sweetest baby I could dream of. I am so very thankful!

So I will admit I have had a lot going on and I forgot to post Annabelle's 5 month pics. I am just about a week and half late.......Anyway, here is my little model. She is such a doll!

I just love the arm. She didn't want to put it down either.....

She is totally wanting to tell me something here......Probably to put down the camera and feed her breakfast! LOL!

I wonder what she is thinking about????

I saved the best for last! I just love this picture. What a doll!

We hope to see you all soon! There's no telling what this little one might be doing next week. Until next time.....XOXO!

Out and About

In anticipation of our upcoming photo shoot Annabelle thought we should go shopping. Of course, AB needs some new outfits for her "official" photography shoot. This was Annabelle's first trip to the mall. Wow! It took almost 5 months to make it to the mall. Goodness! Annabelle did really well and endured lots of stores. AB did stop for a snack in the middle of American Eagle. A girls gotta eat! Annabelle has gotten a new dress, bloomers, bows and a very sweet bubble outfit. I wonder if she is as excited as I am.......hmmmm. I doubt it! I just love, love, love this baby girl! Such a sweetie!

Later that night, Annabelle decided to take her Daddy to Shogun for his long awaited first Father's Day dinner. It was very yummy. Annabelle liked watching the cook prepare our meal. I just knew she was going to cry when he lit the fire. I had planned to hide her face before it happen, but the guy was quick. Her eyes got really big for a second and that was it. I was proud. She is going to be a strong, brave young lady. I just know it. Don't worry Annabelle did not miss out on eating. She had butternut squash, carrots, apples and prunes for dinner (it was a combo pack). She really enjoyed it. Can't you tell???

On Sunday, we went to the cabin to have lunch with all the fathers and do a little visiting and swimming. The dads in attendance were Larry, Donald, Jerry, Calvin and Cameron. Everyone got there chance to hold my girl. She is pretty popular! I am glad we got to spend time with everyone. My nephew, Tyler, even joined us and got to swim. Boy! He asks A LOT of questions. LOL! I had a mission of getting Annabelle's picture with each of her great-grandparents. I actually succeeded! How special is it to have been in the arms of such a wise and loving group of people. Annabelle told me that she feels very special to be loved by so many! ;-)

Sophie got some love to!

Today, Annabelle went back to the doctor for a recheck on her ears. Thank the Lord the ear infection has left her little body. She is excited because she doesn't have to taken anymore antibiotics! That stuff is for the birds! Let's hope that with a little diligence Annabelle's sick visits to the doctor will be few and far between. Even when she feels bad she still can't help but smile. God bless her. She now weighs 13lbs 2oz. She is catching up fast! She still feels light as a feather. I certainly don't want her to grow up too fast. I am enjoying this sweet little baby who loves her mommy so. May she always love me and her daddy as much as or more than she does now. Until next time. XOXO
