The Greatest Hits of 2010

So I thought it would be interesting to look back one day and see what the biggest movies were for the year 2010. There have been so many great movies this year! I thought I would share some of my favorites. First, there are the dramas......Of course, we all know which one of these is Cameron's favorite!!!! "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows" was the movie to see this year. The other favorite was "Eclipse"! There were so many to see and choose from that it was hard to narrow down, but here they are............

Next, the all time favorites.......the chic flicks! There are soooo many to cover, but my personal favorites are "Dear John", "The Last Song", "Charlie St. Cloud" and "Letters To Juliet".

Last, but not least, is the action movies. I have not gotten to see a most of these, but they are on my Netflix list so maybe I will get them all watched very soon! I hear that "Salt" is really good!

Well, that is my list of the best movies of 2010! Everyone's opinion is different though.......What are your favorites of 2010????? Did I leave out anything good? XOXO

(On a side note: The average movie ticket for this year is about $10.15. The ticket prices in Auburn, Alabama are $9.50 for adults and $6.75 for childen. I currently pay $11.80 for unlimited Netflix, which is how we watch most all movies these days. It will be interesting to see what the prices are 10 years from now!)

I found one more movie I would like to add. I finally watched this movie last night after it laid on my counter at home for over a week and I must say that "Invictus" is a really great story. Remind me to NEVER play rugby! I don't know why these men want to punish their bodies so much, but more power to them is all I can say! "Invictus" was a really great story about a country at war trying to find common ground. The nations rugby team played a small part in uniting South Africa. Great story!

Birthdays, Birthdays...........

Kids.............they grow up so fast! It seems like yesterday when my sister, Christy, brought my sweet nephew Zachary home from the hospital. Five years later (and two additions to the family) Zachary is growing up fast. On December 1st he turned five and he is a big boy now. Next fall he gets to start Kindergarten. Wow! Time sure does fly!

Christy's youngest, Alex, also had a birthday this month. On December 9th Alex turned 2 years old. Alex is the baby, but only for a little while longer. He is growing so fast and quickly catching up with the other two. He might even pass them if he keeps growing so fast. Alex is the sweetest baby. Since he was born Alex has always been quiet and patient, at least when I'm around anyway. This little boy LOVES is paw paw. Not sure why, but Calvin must be doing something right! LOL! ;-)

So, since the boys have such close birthdays they get to party together. Here are some pics of the party..........

I got the boys their oh so cute rain boots. I told Zach to try them on when he gets home and let me know if he likes them and he said, "I already like them Aunt Pam". How sweet! I love, love, love these boys. Like I have said before........being a great aunt is the next best thing to being a mother. At least this way I can always send them home to their mother! Until next time........XOXO!

Auburn Football 2010....Need I Say More?!?!

How AWESOME has this football season been for Auburn University! I am sooooooooo excited that I can hardly stand it! Cam Newton is amazing and the entire team has really stepped up this year to give us a perfect 13-0 season. Cameron and I were lucky enough to get to go to the LSU and Arkansas games this year. And I must say......it was AWESOME!!!! My favorite thing was the LSU fans with the "Bama Sux" sign. Priceless!

After a wonderful regular season we went to win the Iron Bowl and the SEC Championship! How much more could you ask for............other than the National Championship! That's not too much to ask, right?!?!?! Here are some pics from the SEC game. I love the one where Cam Newton is making a "snow angel" in the confetti! And, of course, the reporter drinking the "Cammy Cam Juice"!

Here are sope shots of Toomer's corner after the game.........

So here's to a National Championship for the Auburn Tigers!!! War Damn Eagle!!! XOXO

Thanksgiving

Each year as Fall begins we start looking forward to the holiday season. After much planning, consulting, and rearranging, we set a schedule for all of our family gatherings. Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays! The food is always great (as you can tell by the 5 pounds that I gain in one day)! There are so many good cooks in the family! My waistline is never excited about all of the tasty treats, but my tummy sure does love them..........Needless to say we had plenty to eat this year. These are just a few of the faces from our Thanksgiving festivities.

The Little Ones.......

My grandparents.....Geneva and Henry

The rest of us.......

I was not as on top of the picture taking as I usually am, but I did get some good shots. See you soon! XOXO
