July. Oh how busy you have been!

We started off the month by getting family pictures taken on July 1st! They turned out great! I am so glad I decided to just go for it and get this done. These are precious times and I want to capture as many moments as possible. I love so many of these pictures, but these are some of my favorites.

Then we celebrated my mother's birthday on July 2nd! I created a beautiful collage of Annabelle for my mother to hang. Of course, Annabelle got the prime spot......above the mantel! Then Annabelle celebrated her very first 4th of July! I wish I had taken a few more pictures. Maybe without the sunglasses. I just loved her little patriotic dress! No fireworks this year, but hopefully next year we can introduce Annabelle to the festivities. Henry and Annabelle did get acquainted. Annabelle even tried to give Henry a kiss (or she wanted to gnaw on his head....)!

Annabelle and Daddy

Henry was thinking, "Get me away from this baby!"
Annabelle was thinking, "Just let me get a hold of that hair!"

On July 9th I started a new job! I am now working for Muncie Law Firm. I am doing the same work as I was at Ingrum, Rice &Parr, LLC. I am enjoying the job so far. Everyone is super nice and there is no drama! There are a lot more closings going on at the new office so I am trying to keep up. It has been full on go since I started. I thought closings were non-existent, but I was wrong. They just did not exist at Ingrum, Rice & Parr, LLC. I am hoping this new job will be the perfect fit for many years to come.

On the 20th we celebrated Annabelle's half birthday! She is 6 months now. Can you believe it! Annabelle is getting so big. I swear she will be crawling any day now. She is trying to crawl, but hasn't succeeded just yet. I am in no hurry! I know every mother probably feels the same way about her baby, but Annabelle is the sweetest baby ever! I can't believe how lucky we are to have such a precious little girl. She has changed so much and is learning more and more every day. As you can tell by the pictures, our photo sessions are becoming more and more eventful each month. Poor giraffe! He doesn't stand a chance!

Baby girl looks like she has been eating too many carrots. Her little nose is orange......

How cute is this girl?

We also attended Matilyn's 1st birthday party on July 7th. It was Annabelle's first birthday party ever. She did not get to participate in the activities or eat cake, but she was there anyhow. All of the kids loved playing in the water. I think it is safe to say that Matilyn enjoyed her cupcakes.

Cameron and I got to have a mini date on Saturday afternoon. Mishay came to stay with Annabelle while Cameron and I went to watch "Batman: The Dark Knight Rises" and it was great! Very action packed. It is a must see if you like the Batman franchise. We also celebrated GG's birthday on the 22nd (her birthday was on July 20th) with the family. Almost everyone was there on Sunday. We were just missing Kasi and Hank. My how times have changed! I can remember the days when there were no small kids and now they are overflowing. So many sweet little ones. Our family has been richly blessed with so much growth and love!

Our weekends have been so busy. I think this weekend we may just take a break and stay home. Annabelle goes to the doctor on the 31st for her 6 month check-up and shots. I can't wait to see how much she has grown. I thought I knew how it would feel to be a mother, but I had no idea. I love this little girl more than anything in the world. I could never express in words how much I love Annabelle or how thankful I am that God trust me with this precious life. Life. It is so fragile. I would like to end this post with a prayer request. One of my good friends (who I have known since high school) was diagnosed with colon cancer several years ago. After treatment and remission she recently found out that the cancer is back. They are headed to Texas this week for more treatment in hopes that it can be cured for good this time. Amy needs all the prayers she can get. Pray for her strength, her faith and her body. I can't say that I understand what she is going through, but I know that it has been and will be tough. Please say a prayer (or 20) for Amy as she once again goes through treatment. Pray that God will touch her body and take away her cancer.
