BCS National Champions!!!!!! It's Great To Be An Auburn Tiger!!!!

The Auburn Tigers are the 2010 BCS National Champions!!!!!
What better way to start off the New Year than to be a part of this historic and exciting moment!!! Although I was not able to be in Glendale, Arizona last night I was certainly there in spirit! I am beyond excited that our Auburn Tigers were able to bring home the National Championship title and another SEC National Championship win and I got to watch it happen! WOW!!! At the start of this game of was feeling all kinds of emotions that I did not expect! My heart was racing and I was so nervous! I can't even imagine how the players felt in that moment. I was not expecting the eagle to make an appearance in Arizona so when I saw our beautiful eagle flying it made me want to cry..........

In the end it came down to a field goal kick by none other than Wes Byrum who has become so reliable in those pivital moments. As Cameron said....how fitting is it that Byrum gets the winning field goal of the National Cahmpionship game to end his career at Auburn University! So the tigers ended the night with a 22-19 win over the ducks to bring home the trophy. I am soooo proud to be a part of the Auburn Family! Here are some pictures from the big game.......

Of course, no matter where our victory takes place the Auburn fans never let the tradition of rolling the tree at Toomer's Corner slide by..............I hear they even showed this on the big screen at the stadium in Glendale!

This was such an emotional night for all of Auburn! I must say that even though Cam Newton was not the MVP of this game he will always be loved by the Auburn family. I had a feeling he got hurt when he was hit in the back, but he did not complain or sit out. Cam played as hard as he could while in pain until the very end and, of course, still gave us that million dollar smile that we have come to love. If Cam decides to move on the the NFL he will be missed by the Auburn fans. I wish Cam Newton luck in whatever his future may hold. War Cam Eagle!!!!!!

Weagle, Weagle, War Damn Eagle!!!!!

XOXO Pamela

The Last Big Event of 2010......

Every year after Christmas we celebrate Rhonda's birthday. This year we gathered at my house to enjoy Cameron's good cookin'! Though we normally do steaks or ribs we decided to change things up and have homemade jalapeno poppers and chili. Cameron and Hank made the peppers and the chili was all Cameron. Yummy!

Where was I when all this cooking was going on? Well, I have an excuse.....I was at work. Besides, Cameron is so darn good at cooking that I may as well let him do his thing! I think he gets that trait from his mother. I hope that Rhonda enjoyed her birthday party. I know she enjoyed Henry! Here are a few pictures from the party.

Of course, Rhonda's granddog wanted to be part of the action! Kolby was secretly hoping someone would drop a pepper........

Our family get togethers are always full of good food, good stories and great memories. Until we meet again.

Christmas 2010

Every year we start anew with the anticipation of the Holiday Season at the end of the year. So much planning goes into Christmas each year. The decorations, the food, the gatherings, the gifts..........How quickly it all passes by in only two days! But what a wonderful two days!!!! This Christmas was even more special because of the new addition to the family. Henry may not remember this Christmas, but everyone else has it logged in their memories.

My family has always had many children of all different ages so it is common to have little ones running around. They are all so much fun and enjoy Christmas so much! Cameron's family went a while without any babies. I think they must be playing catch up or something! LOL! Brittany has Drew and is expecting, Kelley has Halaina and is expecting and Kasi now has little Henry. Wow! Next Christmas will be interesting with all those babies! Anyway, I love the holiday season and love spending time with all of our family. Cameron and I are so blessed to have great people around us at Christmas time. We always get such great gifts from everyone, but most of all we always have such a wonderful time making memories with our family (or in my case..................taking lots of pictures since my memory sucks!). So here is a review of our Christmas.

First stop was at Donald and Betty's for Christmas Lunch......

Second stop was to my parents for our family holiday.......

Last stop on Christmas Eve was to Larry and Joyce's........

Papa and GG sure do love Henry!

On Christmas Day we spent time at Jerry and Rhonda's and Calvin and Ann's......

I love decorating my house for the holiday's and, of course, taking pictures! Here is a peek into our home at Christmas time.......

Cameron and I opened our gifts by the fire........soooo cozy!

I so enjoy Christmas and hate to see it go, but there will always be next Christmas to look forward to and a brand new year ahead! So here's to a new year, new life and all our wishes coming true in 2011!!!
