An Early Arrival

As many of you may already know we are going to be having our sweet Annabelle sooner than planned. For almost three weeks now I have been itching like crazy! The doctor did blood work and I found out this past Wednesday that I have Cholostasis. Basically, this means that my liver is not doing it's job! After weighing the risk of the cholostasis and the medication I am having to take it was decided that the best course of action is to remove the baby from the situation. I pray that we have made the right decision and that she is healthy. My heart says that she will be fine, but the new mom in me is so very scared! We are doing an amniocentesis on Monday to determine if her lungs are mature. This is scary in itself, but the doctor seems comfortable with the procedure and it is better to know for sure. If her lungs are mature we will be admitted to Columbus Regional Healthcare on Thursday afternoon. On Friday morning I will be induced and we should have a baby sometime on January 20th.

Lucky, I am OCD so I have the nursery ready and I have Annabelle's bag packed. Now I just have to get together the things I need. Here is a sneak peek inside the nursery.

I did a garden theme.......

She already has lots of cloths! She is good up to 6 months at least.

Annabelle's packed bag. This is the outfit I planned for her if she can wear it.

We will do our best to keep everyone updated as we find out more. I do have a shower planned for Sunday, January 22nd in Kellyton given by my mother and aunt. We are still planning to have that shower. If I cannot be there then we are going to send Cameron in my place. Cameron is a social butterfly and will be the perfect stand-in. Hope to see you all soon! Wish us luck and please keep Annabelle in your prayers! XOXO

God has Annabelle Grace Lankford in the palm of His hand!

    Psalms 139:13-16
For it was You who created my inward parts; You knit me together in my mother's womb.
I will praise You because I have been remarkably and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful, and I know this very well.
My bones were not hidden from You when I was made in secret, when I was formed in the depths of the earth.
Your eyes saw me when I was formless; all my days were written in Your book and planned before a single one of them began.
