A November To Remember!

What a busy and exciting month. Annabelle has begun to "cruise" and has become very proficient at pulling up on everything. She now has three teeth with one more on the way! It has been a little rough at times. We are still getting adjusted to the time change. I have been awoken many mornings between 4:00 and 6:00. There's no consistency other than waking up super early. We have ultimately decided that Annabelle is going to start going to bed after 7:00. Maybe she will do better if she starts staying up a little later. AND we can start eating dinner together. Starting that family routine early is never a bad thing. She is getting so big and gaining more of an attitude personality every day. It is so amazing to watch her learn and grow. Annabelle loves to eat. She really likes bananas! She really is way to much like her Daddy!!!!!!

 

Anyway, to start off our month we visited Aunt Christy and cousin Alex. Alex was so good with Annabelle. He brought her toys to play with and held her hand. I think he really enjoyed spending time with Annabelle. We visited Zach and Tyler as well, but I did not get pictures. Those two are moving targets.........

 

 

 

 

Annabelle helped Mommy cook this past week and we learned to play the spoons.....She got a kick out of this activity.

 

 

 

 

Annabelle has also learned how to throw things down just to watch someone pick it up! It's just so much fun Mom!

 

 

November also brought Annabelle's 10 month birthday! 10 months.........WOW! It won't be long folks and we will all be at Annabelle's 1st birthday party. I am both excited and sad. She is growing up to fast, but I love every moment. It has also become increasingly difficult to get a picture. Poor giraffe gets it every time!

 

 

 

 

 

 

Annabelle got a new bear from Ronnie which she loves! She has given it many kisses (or maybe she's trying to eat it....).  So, so cute!

 

 

 

 

Last, but certainly not least, is Annabelle's very first Thanksgiving!!!!!! We got to visit lots of family and eat too much food. Annabelle wasn't very interested in any of the food......I thought she would love it! Though we did give her a taste of pumpkin pie tonight and she thought it was quite tasty. At least somebody liked my pie! LOL! Get ready for tons of AB pics (as if you haven't seen enough)! Of course, we missed Uncle Hank, Aunt Kasi and Henry at Thanksgiving. Hopefully, we will make up for it at Christmas.

My Growing Girl

On Thursday Annabelle had her 9 month doctor visit. All in well with my baby cakes. Annabelle is a healthy, happy baby girl. She now weighs a whopping 17 lbs 6 oz! Not much in comparison to other babies her age, but its still big to me. She is now 27.5 inches long with a head circumference of 17.75 (she got her that from her daddy!). Annabelle is in the 20th percentile for weight, 40th percentile for height and 85th percentile for her big 'ole head! Lol! The doctor said she had a growth spurt and it all went to her head. Hehe!!!!! She is growing so fast! It is hard to believe she will be turning one in a few months. She is pulling up and cruising. I predict she will be walking by Christmas or at least by her first birthday.

We I had our my first lesson in child safety tonight. I was getting a wash cloth out and saw Annabelle pulling up on her dresser drawer and I said "Annabelle that drawer moves baby. Be careful!" Then I see that her hand is shut in the drawer!!!!! She didn't cry at first (delayed reaction). Poor things little fingers were red.......I had not thought we needed to secure her drawers in her room, but clearly it is a must! Child proofing here we come! XOXO

Happy Halloween!!!!!!!

Happy Halloween from Annabelle. Her very first Halloween. We did not trick or treat since my little baby cakes gets in the bed so early and because well she doesn't eat candy. Next year maybe we can join in the festivities, but for now we are nice and cozy at home. You guys know I like to snap some pictures so get ready for Annabelle mania..... ;-)

Annabelle had a pajama party at school. She went as a lady bug (minus the hat since she won't keep it on her head). She even got treats from some of her friends. I felt bad. I did not think about treats. I will do better next time.

Annabelle is had a great first Halloween even though we did not do everything I had planned. As we are all aware, plans change. My little lady bug is snug in her bed. May she have sweet dreams always. XOXO

 

 

October....Yikes! What a Month!

Well, I must say that October has been a trying month. As most of you know I had my gallbladder removed on October 10th. What I thought was going to be a simple procedure ended up being a two week ordeal. After having my gallbladder removed I was still having a lot of pain. The following Tuesday I decided to try and go back to work. I was there for about 2 hours and I was home bound. I vomiting all day and hurting like crazy (and having some kind of crazy hallucinations/dreams)! By the time Cameron got home and got Annabelle feed, bathed and in the bed I was at my wits end! Soooooo, we called for back-up. Luckily, Mishay is in Auburn now and was able to come sit with Annabelle while we went to the emergency room.  She was at the house until after 1:00 and had to get up and take an exam the next day. Thanks Mishay!!! What a night! After, finally getting medicine for the pain and the nausea and an IV fir my severe dehydration I was feeling a little better. Long story short, I had a blockage in my duct coming from my liver. So I was jaundiced. I thought that was just a baby kind of thing..........Guess Not! Poor Cameron was trying to juggle me, Annabelle and work. It was tough! Thanks to Kasi for coming to the rescue and picking me up from the hospital. Then I was off to UAB to have a scope run down my throat, through my stomach and into the blocked duct in my liver. Boy! It is amazing how much better I felt after that was over. It was almost instant relief. I still have a little healing left to do, but I am now proud to say that I am on the mend. Also, I would like to thank Rhonda, Joyce and Jeanne for coming to the house while Cameron was at drill and helping me with Annabelle, preparing lunch and cleaning the house (Jeanne). You guys are all great and I am sure Cameron really appreciated the help as well.

 

During all of this my sweet girl turned 9 months old! She is such a doll and getting such a personality! She is "little Miss Attitude" some days, but still a sweetheart! She does not like anything on her head, she does not want you trying to make her drink if she is not in the mood, she does not want you showing her how to use a sippy cup and by all means DO NOT LEAVE THE ROOM! She gets really upset if she can't see you. LOL! Annabelle has also become very talented at pulling up. On anything. Anywhere. At anytime. It won't be long and she'll be off to the races. I thing we need to do a little more baby proofing...........I just love her personality. Annabelle loves to laugh! And what a cute laugh she has.......

Later that day we went to Henry's 2nd birthday party. Kasi did such a fabulous job on Henry's party. Did we expect anything less. Kasi is very creative! Henry seems to have a really good time and Annabelle had some fun to.

Annabelle also started using her big girl bathtub this past week. She was growing out of her little tubs so I decided to give the big tub a try. I think she likes it a little too much! Annabelle instantly started splashing her hands and feet while laughing. I think she has been waiting to do that for while....LOL! It makes me a little nervous because I don't want her to fall or hit her head. I guess my baby girl is growing up!
